Leveraging vehicle and driver data, automotive OEMs, dealers and developers will be able to create new vehicle experiences, better products and new business models. However, this evolution is dependent on the exchange of data between these parties to unlock the true potential of the vehicle connectivity. Privacy concerns and the ownership of data and customer relationships, are obstacles that will need to be better understood to make significant advancements.

Panelists discussed insights from a recent Lochbridge study which tapped the attitudes and perceptions of 1,000 U.S. drivers.
