A major health care provider needed a digital tool that would let its 4,000 independent agents easily compare new Affordable Care Act (ACA) health plans with one another, as well as with the legacy plans that they were replacing. The tool needed to combine data from seven separate systems, perform analysis, and present the information within a unified interface.
Lochbridge developed a system that provides comparative valuations between 70,000+ small group legacy contracts and approximately
70 post-ACA standardized products for more than 4,000 agents throughout Michigan. Lochbridge deployed a cross-functional team of experts to construct, develop, test, and deploy the system.
By meeting an aggressive development timeline, Lochbridge gave agents several months’ lead time ahead of the ACA enactment, enabling them to familiarize clients with new plans and requirements before the implementation deadline.
